Mary accompianed us one day to Mt. St. Helens. We stopped at Iron Creek Falls and then headed closer to the volcano for some hiking.

Family Time

We had a few days to spend as an entire family after the camping trip when Ben flew home- watching movies, playing games, laughing, playing music, singing- a great time was had by all, and time flew too fast! Then it was time to say goodbye to Laura's clan....

Family Reunion, July '09

We recently returned from a delightful 3.5 week-long visit with my dear family and the beautiful Northwest. A memorable highlight, of course, was the Holst family reunion camping trip, which took place at Lake Wenatchee, WA. Hikes, boat outings, games, naps, beach time, and campfires were among the various activites enjoyed, alongside continuous mosquito swatting. It was great to see everyone and catch up on their life happenings. Laura and family made the long drive up from CA- what a special treat to spend time with them!
