One year ago today, 2 Tbsp, of castor oil finally spurred this little guy out of the womb, 10ish days late, breech and in 1.75 hours. So thankful for the graces surrounding his birth and for his presence in our lives - Dominic provides us with love, joy, and smiles all day long - happy birthday, my precious one!
Dominic enjoyed a quiet birthday morning playing with his favorite brother...but they soon went back to their precious books after a few minutes of playing with the balloons. Well, I tried to be festive.
We had a little party that evening, with a few girls who babysit Dominic. Michael was very happy to help Dominic open his gifts.
Dominic was excited to have a whole cake set in front of him, and hearing everyone sing. Not even having his older brother immediately blow out his candle deflated his spirits. :)
Dominic Gerard is the joyful glue that knits us together and never fails to bring a smile to our faces! He is loving and affectionate to his tumbleweed of an older brother, Michael, and he loves jumping right in there with Michael. Thank you, Lord for this darling boy!
