It was lovely to come home and be with Michael. And spend those last few days with Mom.
When we tell Michael to give Dominic a kiss, he turns his cheek for a kiss from baby instead.
My handsome boy. Hard to believe he is a big brother now...
We didn't want to say goodbye to Nana!!
But...life must go on, even without the presence of Nana. Let's see how we fare with a newborn, an energetic toddler, and a full-time student, shall we? I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me... :) Every time I look at this little face, I am reminded of the Lord's love and merciful care for us; our hope must remain in Him!
"You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother's womb. I praise you, so wonderfully you made me; wonderful are your works! My very self you knew; my bones were not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, fashioned as in the depths of the earth. Your eyes foresaw my actions; in your books all are written down; my days were shaped, before one came to be. How precious to me are your designs, O God; how vast the sum of them!"
Psalm 139:13-17
