Sunday afternoon we toured the Chittenden Locks which serve to keep the waters of Puget Sound out of the fresh waters of Lake Union and Lake Washington. The history and mechanics of these locks are quite fascinating.
We did go down to view the fish ladder. Although it's not season, we saw 2 stragglers making their way up.
Then we stopped at a park on Puget Sound to give Michael a little ride in the swing.
